Volunteering

As an infrastructure organisation, SAVO do not directly place volunteers or advertise volunteering opportunities. Instead, we work with volunteer involving organisations to ensure they are supported to work with volunteers. Volunteers can, however, access our services and training. Our main focus for volunteering is through a project called the Suffolk Volunteering Federation (SVF).

SVF aims to promote and develop volunteering, to raise standards of volunteer management, enable best practice and improve the volunteer experience. As volunteers are the lifeblood of the vast majority of Suffolk groups and volunteering is a focus for major government support, this is a vital area for leadership, development and support.

SVF has its own website, which you can access here: SVF website
