Suffolk Single Gateway PDF Print E-mail

The Suffolk Single Gateway is a single grantpot administered by Suffolk County Council. It was set up as a 'one stop shop' for publicising and allocating county council grants, to voluntary and community groups. The aim is to improve ease of access to the funds available, in order to support the work of the VCS by co-ordinating the application and decision making processes of the different funding streams.

There is a limited budget. However, it tries to support as many applications as possible. The Suffolk County Council (SCC) and Primary Care Trust (PCT) Grant Aid give a small amount of core funding to voluntary and community groups that do not receive any other funding from Suffolk County Council.

However, most of the funding streams will only provide funding for development projects.
