SAVO works with local infrastructure partners to provide funding surgeries in Suffolk for the voluntary and community sector. These surgeries are held on a regular basis, in different locations around the county, and bring together funding specialists to provide a free service. You can book a slot, at your nearest location, and receive an hour of one-to-one support.
We find that funding is just one of many issues your organisation might have. You may need a constitution, to register as a charity, or to write a business plan before you can fill in a funding application. You can talk through these issues at funding surgeries.
A diary of funding surgeries is operated through the Local Infrastructure Partnership Network (known as LIPs). This can be accessed here: LIP Portal. If you cannot see a funding surgery listed in your area, please contact the relevant LIP directly as it might mean they have not updated the site.
The LIPs are as follows:
Babergh Communities Together
Ipswich Council For Voluntary Service
Mid Suffolk Action in Partnership
Suffolk Coastal Resource Network (SAVO are the lead partner and host the VCS Development Officer for the district)
Waveney Community Forum
West Suffolk Consortium for Voluntary Organisations
